Safer Internet day 2017

Internet safety week – 6th February – 10 February 2017

“Be the change: Unite for a better internet”

Lordswood Girls’ School is supporting Safer Internet Day 2017 with a week-long focus on promoting e-safety across the whole school.  In fact Lordswood Girls’ School is joining hundreds of other organisations across the UK in celebrating internet safety and promoting the safe and responsible use of technology.

The theme for the week is called ‘Be the change:Unite for a better internet’ which offers the opportunity to focus on both the creative and positive things that children and young people are doing online, as well as the role that we all play in helping to create a better internet.

In school, year groups will attend assemblies highlighting the theme for this year to encourage safe internet use and students will also be taking part in ‘Safer Internet Week’ related activities during registration periods.
